I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Geralyn Dreyfous, whose most recent film is the Oscar-shortlisted The Hunting Ground, a documentary about sexual assault on college campuses. Dreyfous' executive-producing and producing credits include the Academy Award-winning Born Into Brothels; Emmy-nominated The Day My God Died; and multiple film festival winners, such as Kick Like a Girl, In A Dream, Dhamma Brothers, Project Kashmir, Miss Representation, Connected and The Invisible War.

Girls are expected to be better at following rules and "working out problems verbally." Boys are expected to, well… "be boys," and many studies find they're better treated overall. The coddling of young boys, and the different expectations we have of them, might be part of the source of the male privilege and misogyny that we as women complain about every day.

One of my biggest concerns today is that people are forgetting that what they say, type and Tweet can be spread around the globe in a matter of seconds. With as little as one out-of-context comment, an individual can mar their reputation or offend both friends and strangers. On the Internet, unlike in spoken dialogue, comments are etched in our digital footprints and can come back to haunt or inhibit future relationships from occurring.

In my last article, I looked at the process of measuring the results accumulated from thinking with intention and the value of communicating your new approach to others.

I have found the next step is how to integrate your intention into both your personal and business life in a way that is easy and mostly sticks.

In my previous article, I discussed intention -- the reason and motive behind whatever it is that you do. After you identify your intention, the next step is to begin leading with your intention. In order to begin there are two important steps for this journey. The first is being aware of changes in your life, which I am directing to be positive. The second is communicating your new processes of leading with others.

We often hear calls and initiatives for self-growth, but what I have come to realize is that we cannot truly understand what self-growth means until we understand separately what self means and what growth means. And I believe that before we can even consider these questions, we must understand what our intention is and begin to prepare ourselves for that conversation.

We spoke to Clare Munn about her tips for entrepreneurs; the startup she most admires; and her new communication model which bridges IQ and Emotional Intelligence.
